Hola! SOY Talissa Camacho
Hi, I’m Talissa.
I’m a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), hablo Español, and I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. My passion for helping others comes from my own life experiences and personal struggles. At one point in my life, I needed someone who could truly understand me, guide me, and help me feel less alone. That experience inspired me to become the therapist I once needed.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger, and life transitions. I have a particular passion for helping men who have spent years carrying responsibilities, pressure, and emotional burdens on their own. Many have learned to stay strong for everyone else while never having the opportunity to process what they have been through.
My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can slow down, be yourself, and focus on your growth. My approach is honest, direct, compassionate, and grounded in real conversations. I also believe humor can be an important part of healing because growth does not always have to feel so heavy.
Growing up in a Hispanic household, I understand the challenges that can come with cultural expectations, family dynamics, and the pressure to always have everything under control. Therapy is a space where you no longer have to carry those burdens alone.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy working out, traveling, arts and crafts, self-care, and spending time with family and friends.
My Approach
I am passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and create meaningful change in their lives. Through a direct, supportive, and trauma-informed approach, I help clients better understand themselves, overcome challenges, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
My work focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, men's mental health, and the impact of generational patterns. Together, we explore how past experiences, family dynamics, and cultural influences may be affecting your current relationships, emotions, and overall well-being.
As someone who grew up in a Hispanic household, I understand the challenges that can come with navigating multiple cultures, family expectations, and the pressure to always stay strong. I provide a culturally sensitive and judgment-free space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered as you work toward healing and personal growth.
Our Values
1. Relentless Commitment
We believe in showing up: Especially when it’s hard. Healing trauma takes effort, and we honor the discipline it takes to keep going, even when no one else sees it.
2. ‘Never Give Up’ Mentality
Challenges don’t define you, how you respond to them does. We stand for resilience, perseverance, and the decision to keep moving forward no matter the obstacles.
3. Purpose Through Family
For many of our clients, family is the reason behind everything. We honor the drive to become better, not just for yourself, but for the people who depend on you.
4. Brotherhood & Support
No one is meant to carry everything alone. We create a space where you are supported, challenged, and understood, like having someone in your corner who genuinely wants to see you win.
5. Integrity & Honor
We stand for honesty, accountability, and doing the right thing, even when it’s uncomfortable. Growth starts with telling yourself the truth.
6. Gratitude & Perspective
We believe in recognizing how far you’ve come. Gratitude grounds you, sharpens your mindset, and fuels the next level of your growth.
